What makes Berberine Glucose Support from Now Foods so special?
Berberine Glucose Support contains berberine HCI, which is extracted from the bark of the barberry (Berberis aristata). Due to its limited bioavailability, this NOW preparation has been combined with MCT oil , which contains capric acid (C10) . This promotes berberine supplementation.
What is berberine?
Berberine (lat. Berberis vulgaris), is a yellow plant isoquinoline alkaloid found in various plants such as barberry (Berberis) or mahonia (Mahonia).
It has been used as a colorant for centuries and is also one of the traditional herbs of Europe and Asia[1].
