What are tocotrienols?
Tocotrienols are four of the eight naturally occurring forms of vitamin E. They are divided into D-alpha-, D-beta-, D-gamma- and D-delta-tocotrienol and perform the basic functions of vitamin E.
Tocotrienols are found in significant quantities in plant-based foods such as palm oil, rice germ oil, barley oil and wheat germ oil[2].
