When you buy a can of Nutrex Astin Hawaiian Astaxanthin , you get 60 softgels of astaxanthin with vitamin E. One softgel capsule contains a dosage of 6 mg Hawaiian astaxanthin, 15 IU vitamin E (d-alpha-tocopherol) and 400 mg extra olive oil.
What is BioAstin from Nutrex?
Astin from Nutrex contains Hawaiian astaxanthin, which is extracted from freshwater algae from our own farm in Kona, Hawaii.
Astaxanthin belongs to the group of carotenoids. Carotenes are the natural pigments that give fruit and vegetables their red, yellow and orange color.[1] Astaxanthin is produced naturally in microalgae (plankton) and gives salmon fish and crustaceans their characteristic pink color.[2]
What effect does astaxanthin from Nutrex have?
Due to its special molecular structure, it can spread effectively throughout the body and act as an antioxidant protect the cells in the body from oxidative stress and free radicals. This remarkable mode of action makes astaxanthin the most powerful antioxidant in the world.
