What is Source Naturals BioPerine?
BioPerine is an extract of piperine, the fruit of the black pepper plant.
Black pepper (Piper nigrum), the “king” of spices, is a climbing plant from the tropical rainforests of Madagascar, India and Malaysia. The pungent pepper flavor comes from its high piperine content. Piperine is a complex molecule that can account for up to 10 % of the total weight.
Source Naturals BioPerine with 10 mg of black pepper extract per dose has been standardized to 95 % piperine. In addition, Source Naturals BioPerine contains 28 mg calcium per dosage. The following statements on the effect of calcium have been scientifically proven:
